Unit 5 A Party教学设计

Teaching Content :译林版小学英语六年级下册Unit 5 A PartyStory time

Feaching Aims :

    (1)Ss can understand and read the new words and sentences ;clown , appear , balloon , put on , Children’s Day , begin , What are you going to bring to theparty ? I am going to…

    (2)Ss can read the text fluently and act it out

    (3)Ss can retell the text with key words

Important and diffcult points :

    (1)Ss can read the text fluently and act it out .

    (2)Ss can reteel the text with key words .

Teaching aids : CAI . some pictares .

Teaching procedures :

    Step I : Warming up

    1.Greetings

    2.Ss know the “ learning aims” of this lesson

    3.play a guessing game(一男孩扮演成小丑,让全班学生猜猜他是谁?学生猜出后问他为什么扮演成小丑,男孩回答是生日即将到来,想举行一个生日Party,导入本课课题Unit 5 A party

    Step II : Presentation

    1.Listen to the tape of Unit 5 and answer the question : Who are going to have a party ?(从听觉上整体感知课文,并指导学生如何听听力)

    2.Watch the cartoon and answer the qnestioon :

    What is Su Hai going to buy for the party ?(从视觉上整体感知课文)

    3.Ss read the book at P48 and then do the exercise of P50 match and say .

    4.Ss read the book at P48 in group .(学生小组内以开火车的形式自读P48内容)

    5.1Ss read the whole text quickly do the exercise true or false then underline the right answer on the book .(学生快速自读整篇课文,做P50true or false练习)

   2Play a game : If the sentence is true , Ss say Yeah ! Yeah ! Yeah ! If the sentence is false , Ss say No! No! No!

    6.Learn new words : appear , begin …(通过学生做true or false题目时,让学生在文中划出正确答案时,理解生词)

    7.Have some fun : If you see an English sentence , reed it londly . If you see balloons , shourt “Hooray” !(游戏中出现的句子为课文中的重要句子,通过连起这些句子,让学生了解举行一个聚会需要:time , place , member , activity

    8.Retell the story with key words on the blackboard

Step II : Consolidation

    1.通过小组内Read together / Read in role / Actit out in group / Retell in group合作的形式选择其中一项,对文本进行巩固。

    2.I can write : A birthday party (生日快要到了,你将为他聚会做哪些准备呢?以下词组可能对你有所帮助:have a party / be going to  / bring some toys…

    3.How many stars can you get ?(学生通过自评方式看自己达到了哪些目标)

Step IV : Home work

    1.Preview : Grammar time and Fun time

    2.Read and keten the text fluently .

    3.Find some thing about the party on the Internet .

Teaching procedure :

Step 1 . Warming up

    1.Greetings .

    2.Know the learning aims .

Step 2 . Preview

    1.Say a chant to review the story time .

    2.Play a game : choose a box and make new sentences to review grammar time .

Step 3 . Presentation

    1.Show Bobby’s first email : He wants to be a king . But he can’t say the king’s words well . let’s help him .

    2.Task 1 : Read the rhyme .

    read by themselves read after one student read after the tape

    3.Learn the words of the rhyme ; window , slow…

    4.From these words , what can you find ? ow / au /

    5.If you want to say better , let’s do task 2 .

    play a game : Picking apples (找出ow/au/ 的单词苹果摘下来)

    6.Let the Ss say some words : ow pronunced /au/

    7.Show Bobby’s another email : Here’s a vedio about Bobby . What happened ? Let’s watch:(渗透八礼四仪之观党之礼)①choose correct answer .

    8.Listen to the tape and try to imitate .(前3幅图)

    check :who is in the story ?(图片)

          What are they going to do ? write

          Is Bobby happy to be the king ?

    9.Go on watching : Is Bobby happy to be the king ?

    10.Read in groups and then choose one picture to act it out .
